Hi everyone! Well, we are looking through all the cool pictures and video. I will post all of that to the website as soon as soon as possible.
First off, PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH FEEDBACK, as I want to make sure that any mistakes can be fixed next year and new ideas can be implemented.
Second, I want to personally tell you how grateful we were to have all of you attend the event Saturday. It was awesome... no, we did not make a profit, but I think for our first festival, it went pretty well. Next year we will be doing some things different that should help with money, so don't sweat it.. we WILL be doing another event.
Third. I would like to thank all of our great sponsors, Carolina Smoke, Floor Mechanics LLC, Chapters Photography, Northshore Schools Foundation, Country Village Shops, Country Cafe, Sids Handy Mart, West Coast Marine, Impel Merchant Services, Excellence Electric, and Pegasus Pizza on Alki. These business owners had faith that we could pull of this event and we thank them for that. We never forget a favor and they will be in front of the line at next years event. Thanks again.
Fourth, I would like to thank all the bands and especially Chester Dennis Jones for coming out. If you missed his last act.. oh boy, wait until you see the video. (We will be posting media soon)the
Fifth, I would like to thank the Bothel Police. Yes we had to turn the music down a bit, but Bothell has some great understanding officers and we thank them for their understanding and willingness to work with us.
Sixth, I would like to thank our production folks, Medley Productions for such a great show. Keith hand his crew are top notch and I HIGHLY recommend them if you are planning a event like ours.
Seventh, and this should be closer to the top, but I don't want to retype a bunch of stuff, but I want to thank all of our volunteers. We had to use all of our saved up favors to get our friends and family to help out for the show, and we thank you all so much. Hopefully next time, we will have more sponsors (... pssst: If you want to sponsor next years event, drop me a line: info@bothellmusicfestival.com) so we can hire some people to work the event so you folks can enjoy it. Thanks again.
Lastly, we would like to thank our families (especially my wife Michelle and Steve's SOON to be wife Sandra) for putting up with us for the last few weeks, as there were many long nights and early mornings that were spent working on the endless details that need to be attended to, we love you all.
